SBS has scored a $158.1 million funding coup over five years – described as the biggest in its history. Ten million ABC Radio listeners in regional, rural and remote areas are promised improved services. The ABC’s regional radio services will get $2.6 million over four years to continue upgrading transmission sites and studios for compatibility with the new VAST signal, reports The Herald Sun.
