Similar to the age old question of what came first the chicken or the egg, when we think of podcasting, we can ask the same question – what came first, the content or the revenue? 
Chaired by Jamie Chaux from Commercial Radio Australia, four speakers start discussing how people are using podcasts and how advertisers are integrating into on-demand audio.
“It was 12 months ago when we talked about podcasting on this stage.  So what has changed in the last 12 months,” begins Chaux.

This year's Vivid festival in Sydney has combine audio with its iconic light show in several events during the one month Sydney winter light festival.

Vivid Sydney, the largest festival of light, music and ideas in the Southern Hemisphere, is celebrating its eleventh anniversary in 2019.

Audiocraft has initiated the launch of an agency representing some of Australia's "best" audio producers and freelancers for hire.

It claims a disconnect between organisations who want to produce quality audio content, and the highly skilled makers who can meet demand, prompted the initiative and aims to bridge the gap connecting clients with audio production talent.

To celebrate their "10th anniversary podcast" The Real Thing is teaming up with Audiocraft to play two unique live shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

ABC RN’s The Real Thing is a podcast in search of the real Australia. Each week Mike Williams and Timothy Nicastri venture into the corners to discover the characters, scenes and stories that make this country unique.

The guys will bring music, a bit of magic and most importantly, their unique take on Australian stories to your ears (and eyes!).

Audiocraft is a day for radio producers, podcasters and documentary storytellers to come together and talk, listen, and learn about making great stories with sound.
Practical workshops and discussions will be led by innovators from public, community and independent radio.
They’ll explore narrative techniques, podcasting nuts and bolts, creative sound design, the rules of making good radio and when to break them. 
The conference is happening at Redfern’s 107 Projects on Saturday March 5th 2016.
