Deborah Clay has been promoted by ARN to the role of National News Director.
 
Deb will be responsible for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
 
This appointment comes following a national review of ARN's news strategy and will provide a more streamlined format, in line with other key areas of the business.

ARN has launched a new TV, digital and social campaign for Sydney's KIIS 1065 and Kyle & Jackie O, a fun and revealing look at what real people actually think of the radio duo.
 
This new campaign goes behind the scenes providing audiences with a cheeky glimpse into the minds of Kyle & Jackie O.
 

ARN finishes 2016 strongly

APN News & Media Limited has released its results for the 12 months ending 31 December 2016 with ARN performing well.

It recorded an increase in revenues by 2 per cent to $225.3m, albeit behind market growth, a 4 percent increase on EBITDA to $86.1m and consistent ratings improvement in the second half of 2016, with a strong final survey 8.

That survey included ARN holding the #1 FM commercial stations in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide and the #1 and #2 commercial FM breakfast shows in Sydney.

ARN announces new commercial structure

ARN has made changes to its commercial structure with the appointment of Emma-Jayne Owens to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer.
 
As Chief Commercial Officer, Emma-Jayne will join the Executive Leadership Team and be responsible for the commercial function across all platforms in addition to integration, creative and strategy. 
 

Bryce leaves Trace to join Jonesy and Amanda

Bryce Ruthven is leaving the Hitz 939 breakfast show Bryce & Trace.

After a successful period that included two ACRA nominations including best on air team in the country category, two Queensland Multimedia Award nominations plus a survey win in 2016 including Bundaberg's most listened to radio show, Bryce has taken up an offer to return home to Sydney with ARN to join WSFM as the panel operator and producer for Jonesy & Amanda.

New appointment at ARN

ARN has announced the appointed Andy Procopis as Integration Manager across Sydney and Brisbane.
 
Andy was most recently Creative Solutions Manager at Ensemble, working on campaigns including KIT KAT Studio, Allen's Lolly Bar, KFC Home Cricket Ground and Volvo V8 Partnership. His radio and media career spans 12 years, working across campaigns, tactics and senior integration roles at SCA, Bauer Media (UK) and three years at ARN between 2012 - 2015.
