AFR Advertising Summit on Tuesday – last chance to book

Like print, radio is increasingly relying on a digital presence to build audience share.

However, digital media, while offering great opportunities to extend reach and develop brand awareness, is not without its challenges.

Marketers in radio need to be aware of changes in audience behaviour, new trends and technological developments.

The 6th annual AFR Advertising Summit at the Sydney Harbour Marriott on Tuesday, 4 December will explore these and many other issues under the blanket theme, ‘Advertising in the Future’.

Angela Clarke, CEO of the Macquarie Radio Network will be part of an expert panel looking at what advertisers can expect of radio and other media in the marketing mix.

Keynote speaker Harold Mitchell, Executive Chairman of the Mitchell Communications Group, will discuss media, marketing and communications in an increasingly fragmented audience landscape.

Mitchell will also be part of an expert panel discussing behavioral and other changes expected in the mix.

Other speakers include Neil Ross, QANTAS’ Group General Manager Marketing; Tony Faure, CEO of Ninemsn; Ian Smith, CEO of Yahoo!7; Amanda Johnston, Telstra Bigpond’s Sales and Marketing Director; and Lindsey Evans, Managing Director of The Campaign Palace.
