It's official, Hadley is a hunk & Hughsey wants a recount

While most would agree that he has a great face for radio, veteran broadcaster Ray Hadley, 64, is officially Australia’s sexiest radio star.
 
The 2GB morning host pipped Hit Network funnyman Dave Hughes into second place in the nationwide contest organised by Take 5 magazine.
 
Reigning champ Brendan Jones came sixth this year, one place below ARN stablemate Kyle Sandilands.
 

ABC Southbank will open to the public for Open House Melbourne

As part of Open House Melbourne weekend of Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 July, ABC Southbank Centre will be among over 200 significant commercial and civic buildings, private homes, infrastructure and landscape projects to open for the public, demonstrating some of Melbourne’s most progressive historical, contemporary and future-facing ideas in architecture and city-making.

Buildings include The Capital Theatre, Australian Islamic Centre, Carlton Court House, Hawthorn Tram Depot, Myer Mural Hall, State Gymnastic Centre, Victorian Archives Centre and Willsmere.

ABC Melbourne breakfast host Red Symons is recovering in hospital after a fall caused by a 'sudden lack of conciousness'.

Station manager Warwick Tiernan read this statement from Red on air this morning.
 

Hello everybody! Just over a week ago, on Wed 5 July, when walking home from the supermarket I experienced a sudden lack of consciousness. This resulted in a fall, with my head hitting the pavement.
