97.3 Brisbane’s breakfast marketing push

ARN’s 97.3 FM has launched a new marketing campaign to highlight presenters Robin, Terry and Bob in an attempt to close the small gap that now remains between ARN’s 973 and breakfast leader B105 in the Brisbane market.

 

973’s Breakfast timeslot was up by 1.7 share points last survey, putting it only 0.3 share points behind B105.

 

The Australian Radio Network has doubled the marketing budget for the show and will launch a new outdoor campaign (pictured) with interactive audio at commuter locations. The interactive component of the campaign will allow users to download podcasts to their phones when they are near the posters, in a similar concept to Nova’s use of near field technology, although without the use of Nova’s innovative technology.
