Gold FM’s $10,000 Ball Drop

Gold FM’s Richard, Bridge & Spida will be dropping 100 golf balls from a helicopter tomorrow at Club Parkwood; with one of them worth a massive $10,000 cash.

The breakfast team are excited to find out who will win the money. Bridget Daley, Gold FM Breakfast Show host says,

“I’m not really a golfer but I would definitely head to a course to win a huge $10,000! We have some really deserving people in the running for the money... the cash will be even better than a hole-in-one!”

92.5 Gold FM raises over $140,000

92.5 Gold FM has raised $140,059 during their Give Me 5 for Kids charity initiative in 2015.

With key fundraising events including a car wash at Harbour Town and Spida’s Ride from Gladstone to the Gold Coast on a bicycle, plus generous community donations, they were able to demonstrate our support for the children’s wards at the Gold Coast University Hospital and Tweed Hospital.

Spida Rides 741kms to raise funds for local hospital

92.5 Gold FM Breakfast host, Spida Everitt, will be riding a bicycle from Gladstone to the Gold Coast to raise funds for Gold FM’s Give Me 5 for Kids.

Spida aims to ride the 741km stretch from Tuesday morning until Friday lunch - but he can only ride each kilometer if $50 is donated to the cause.

92.5 Gold FM will be asking for donations from Gold and Tweed Coast families and businesses to raise the funds needed to get Spida back to the Gold Coast.

Richard, Bridge and Spida’s Ultimate Surprise Party

92.5 Gold FM’s Richard, Bridge and Spida are throwing the Gold Coast’s Ultimate Surprise Party tonight at Fisherman’s Warf Tavern, all planned by the Gold Coast.

For the last three weeks Gold FM has been inviting listeners to call through on air with their suggestion for the party. Everything from catering, decorations and entertainment was crafted through the feedback of the Gold and Tweed Coasters.

Gold FM's first Buddy Bench was unveiled this week on the Gold Coast.

The station's Richard, Bridge and Spida are on a mission to stamp out school bullying with the installation of Buddy Benches at Gold and Tweed Coast schools (see our earlier report).

The first bench is located at Norfolk Village State School.
