891 ABC Adelaide reclaims the river

A series of special outside broadcasts tomorrow (1 June) on 891 ABC Adelaide will give listeners a “unique chance to find out more about the River Torrens and Linear Park.” In the lead up to this special day of live radio, 891 has issued the call for listeners to ‘Reclaim The River’.

Covering all the issues and interests which relate to this 35km-long tract of parkland, listeners will get the chance to dip into the issues of the Torrens and its neighbouring parkland right
across the day.

Starting with Breakfast with the Baldies from St. Peters, through to
Mornings with Matt & Dave and Afternoons with Carole Whitelock from Felixstow, and then
finishing with Drive with Grant Cameron and Peter Goers at Lockleys, 891 ABC Adelaide
will be broadcasting live from dawn until dusk on the first day of winter.

Walkers and cyclists who frequent the Linear Park can drop into three different broadcast points, meet the team, pick up some goodies, watch live radio and help reclaim the river.

For those who go the extra mile (or two!) and turn up at all three locations there are Reclaim The River prize packs to be won. Collecting special 891 stamps at each program
will set listeners on the path to owning brand new, limited edition 891 water bottles plus mugs and baseball caps.
