7HO FM Christmas appeal a huge success

7HOFM listeners have been digging deep to help Hobart families this Christmas. Trailers left at Harvey Norman stores across Hobart have been filled to overflowing with gifts for needy children and families this season.

The gifts will be donated to the Royal Hobart Hospital Children’s Ward and The Hobart City Mission and given to those in need.

Like so many stations around the country, 7HO has done much for its city at a time when the Christmas spirit is so much in need.

7HOFM Program Director John Inglis has told radioinfo: “The generosity of our listeners is amazing! Our goal was to make sure no child woke up Christmas morning to find nothing under the tree and no food for Christmas dinner – I’m blown away!”

7HOFM Sales Manager Donna Sookee says without the continued support from Harvey Norman and the generous donation of the trailers from Kings Trailers, this years’ promotion would not have been the enormous success it was. “On behalf of 7HOFM and our clients, I would like to thank the people of Hobart for once again showing what a fabulous community we live in.”

The team at 7HOFM are proud to help put a smile on some children’s faces this year and make Christmas a little easier for some families doing it tough.
