4CC back on airwaves following network buy last year

IT WAS back to the future on Friday night with the announcement that Zinc radio station is heading back to its roots. From 8am Monday morning, 4CC – the station Gladstone grew up with – is back. Grant Broadcasters, who bought the entire Prime Radio Queensland network in October, wanted the Gladstone station to have its own brand from the Zinc network. Station manager Sally Waghorn said the station wanted to introduce changes that would "improve the sound and feel of the brand to really capture the community focus we’re so passionate about".
