Former 2GB Executive Producer Niahm Kenny has passed away.

Niamh had been ill for some time and had been in hospital in recent weeks.

2UE's Clinton Maynard worked with Niamh and remembers her as "certainly a one of a kind!"
 

"She spoke her mind, she was passionate and she knew talk radio inside out. Niamh knew her stuff and knew how audiences think.

The Jones and Laws feud is settled over lunch

Alan Jones and John Laws have buried the hatchet over a long lunch at Sokyo.
 
The pair were seen yesterday enjoying a 3 hour luncheon at the Pyrmont restaurant with Jones posting on Instagram “How’s this? Christmas lunch at Sokyo with the best. J Laws will always be at the top of the media tree. We laughed today as we have laughed in the past. Many of the stories are unrepeatable! You can’t replace good times.”
 

The Two Murray's are back

Two of Australia’s favourite broadcasters are returning to radio with Murray Wilton and Murray Olds (aka The Two Murrays) set to deliver five hours of news, sport, entertainment, lifestyle and plenty of frivolity over summer weekends on 2GB and 4BC.
 
Their new show launches this Saturday, October 31, and continues on weekends right through until the start of the NRL season in March 2021.
 
The Two Murrays will go to air Saturday and Sundays 2pm–7pm on 2GB and 1pm-6pm on 4BC.

Sandy Aloisi steps back from 40 years in radio

Sandy Aloisi is preparing for her final radio shift, having decided to pull the pin on a 40-year career.
 
In the late 1970’s, Sandy was Sydney's first female commercial newsreader, working at 2SM, alongside Steve Liebmann, Brian White and John Tingle
 
She spent much of her career in the commercial radio industry, moving from journalist/newsreader to editor and News Director, and was ultimately appointed program director 2UE.

Mark Neely has retired after three decades in radio audience measurement

Mark Neely has called time on 40 years in radio and radio audience measurement.
 
He had initially planned to retire on June 30 this year, but when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the research industry, he brought the date forward and retired as of 31st March.
 
Mark joined WIN Television in 1980 as Agency client service executive, working out of the North Sydney office, and joined AGB McNair Anderson in 1986, taking responsibility for servicing the radio station clients and the ad agencies a year later.
