Melbourne’s 1116 SEN has renewed its broadcast partnership with Racing Victoria to cover all of the thoroughbred action and excitement this Spring and will broadcast live at key metropolitan events, kicking off with the first Group one race of the season at Caulfield this Saturday.
With the AFL on pause for the week, the $1 million New Zealand Bloodstock Memsie Stakes, is set to be the sporting event of the weekend.

Mark Allen is recovering from his latest surgery

Former golf pro and SEN announcer Mark Allen, who is battling stage four bowel and lung cancer, is recovering well from an operation to get rid of his colostomy bag.
Mark tweeted from hospital that operation had gone well, expressing his thanks to the staff at Melbourne Private Hospital.

Crocmedia scores a hole-in-one with Golf Australia

Crocmedia has expanded its partnership with Golf Australia that will see key golf events broadcast on radio and on-course simultaneously over the next 12 months.
The news comes as the pair marked the 100th edition of their co-produced podcast and radio show Inside The Ropes with a visual episode.
Hosted by Andrew Maher and Golf Australia’s Mark Hayes, Inside The Ropes has grown to over 157 frequencies and 67,000 listeners since its inception.

Crocmedia adds the Blues, and the Maroons

Crocmedia will expand their Holden State of Origin 2019 broadcast with the introduction of two new parochial calls, Blues Radio and Maroons Radio, tailored for New South Wales and Queensland markets respectively.
Blues Radio and Maroons Radio will broadcast into key metropolitan and regional hubs to ensure passionate fans have access to play-by-play commentary and matchday analysis from the 38th instalment of the Holden State of Origin Series.
