UPDATE: The announcers said if the temp goes over 40 they would down tools… It did, so today FM104.7 was jock free.

Right across Australia, capital citites are enduring severe weather, some even recording temperatures into the mid-40s.

With temperatures in Canberra expected to hit 40 degrees today, the team at 104.7 have taken the initiative to beat the heat, turning their Black Thunder street car into a swimming pool. 

Afternoon’s announcer Maz will be broadcasting live from the stations new pool this afternoon from 1-3pm, with morning announcer Joe taking suggestions on where the the pool should be taken.
