2GO to go, along with Sea FM and Gold 92.5

On Friday 8th November, two iconic brands on the Central Coast, 2GO and Sea FM disappear, rebranded Central Coast’s 107.7 Triple M and Central Coast’s Hit101.3 respectively.
Further up the coastline, The Gold Coast’s Gold 92.5 will become Goldie’s 92.5 Triple M.

Sea FM surges on the Central Coast of NSW

101.3 Sea FM has become the station listened to most  on the Central Coast of NSW, overtaking Star 104.5 in the latest Xtra Insights Survey for Gosford.
Both Sea FM (up 1.4 to 18.0) and 2GO (up 1.3 to 12.1) improved slightly in the first survey since October last year.

Harvey Norman is the top brand in NSW and QLD

As we gear up for State of Origin Game 2 on Sunday, AirCheck Australia have compared the Top 10 Brands on radio in New South Wales and Queensland over the last four weeks.

Harvey Norman took out the top spot in both states, but NSW aired three times more spots than its counterpart. Sea FM 101.3 Central Coast aired the most spots for the advertiser, while in QLD 92.5 GOLD FM Gold Coast was out in front.
Domayne was the second most advertised brand in both states.

With the approach of Election Day on Saturday, AirCheck Australia has tallied which parties and politicians have placed the most spots on radio, TV and Pay TV.

Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party was the most advertised party during the last five weeks running a massive 11,428 spots, equating to a 35.40% share of all political advertising and with spots aired across 41 radio stations and TV channels, Sydney talk station 2GB aired the most spots for the party.

Gawndy brings an April Fools joke to reality

After McDonald’s released its April Fools joke - a ‘McPickle’ burger, Gawndy from Central Coast 101.3 Sea FM spoke of how big of a fan he was of pickles.

Unfortunately being an April Fools prank this burger doesn’t actually exist... well for normal people anyway.

With the help of the local Maccas at West Gosford, co-host Ash Pollard brought his pickle dreams to life in the best possible way, with a real life incarnation of the burger itself to wish Gawndy a Happy Birthday.

Gia Moylan joins Hit105.9 Central West breakfast show

Moving from the 101.3 Sea FM afternoons on the Central Coast, Georgia ‘Gia’ Moylan will join Mike Farrer as the Central West’s Hit105.9 new breakfast host starting next Monday, 25 February. 

Gia began her career in radio as producer for 101.3 Sea FM’s breakfast duo Ash Pollard & Gawndy and moved to hosting afternoons late last year.

Now she will make the move to Orange for a brand new breakfast radio gig along side Michael ‘Mike’ Farrer.
