Triple R Sponsorship Coordinator (Arts Clients) 30 hrs/week (part-time) to 35 hours/week (full-time) 12 month parental leave vacancy Triple R has shaped and inspired the culture of Melbourne broadcasting from Wurundjeri country. Since its inception in 1976, Triple R has become Australia's most influential independent community radio station with over 16,000 paid subscribers and an estimated 800,000+ monthly listeners. General role description 3RRR is seeking a Sponsorship Coordinator to work within a team of four to manage a growing number of clients. The successful applicant will be responsible for pursuing and managing relationships with new and existing station sponsors, scripting and scheduling sponsorship announcements and managing other promotional opportunities. The sponsorship client areas are: Arts & Culture, Theatre, Film Festivals, Arts & Cultural Partnerships for Local Council and Government Key selection criteria - Essential • Experience in a sales or marketing orientated role • Excellent organisation skills • Demonstrated strong work ethic and sense of self-determination • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel • Ability to work in a team environment • Desirable • Extensive knowledge of community radio, and 3RRR in particular • Extensive knowledge of the Melbourne arts, entertainment and music communities • Experience in other roles in the media • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining business relationships • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Arts Management or Communications Application process Triple R especially welcomes applications from members of the following groups - feel free to let us know if they apply to you: o Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples o People from underrepresented cultural and linguistic backgrounds o People living with a disability o People who identify as LGBTIQA+ o Young people (Under 26) o Women Please email Recruitment@rrr.org.au to request a copy of the full Position Description.
