About the role
Based in Sydney, we are looking for an experienced Direct Sales Account Manager to join 2GB and 2UE Talking Lifestyle.    
Reporting to the Direct Sales Manager, the key responsibilities of your role include:

  • taking pro-active steps to retain clients;
  • growing existing clients;
  • actively seeking new business opportunities;
  • updating the revenue & action planner on a daily basis;
  • creating and pitching insightful, innovative and winning presentations;
  • maintaining appropriate documentation in relation to bookings and post reporting;
  • collaborating internally to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders;
  • being a subject matter expert in all Macquarie Media platforms; and
  • mentoring and developing your Sales Co-ordinators.

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual who can contribute to the growth and development of our business.  You will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role and promptly attend to the needs of most valuable assets: our listeners, clients and staff.
The successful candidate will bring to this position the following attributes and experience:

  • professional manner with outstanding customer service;
  • extensive sales and/or media sales experience which may include agency or direct;
  • excellent communication skills both verbally and written;
  • excellent negotiation and presentation skills;
  • strong attention to detail;
  • current drivers licence and vehicle; and
  • competent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
