COOKIES
 
Radioinfo and AsiaRadioToday use cookies to tell you what pages you have previously visited on our sites while you are using the sites. We drop cookies on your computer so you can track which pages you have visited on our sites, we do not store those cookies on our sites. Those cookies have a life of 12 months. You can avoid our cookies by using incognito/private mode, or by manually deleting cookies from our sites.
 
Our website does not track you coming and going from our site and we do not store data about your usage of our website an any AMT Pty Ltd databases or website servers.
 
 
 
YOUR ACTIVITY ON OUR PUBLICATIONS
 
We use several levels of login status on our websites, each one has different levels of personal data collection. Here are the details of each user level:
 

Non-logged in readers
 
We do not collect any data on non-logged in users to our websites. We use cookies to give you a smooth user experience, as outlined above. We use Google Analytics to track your anonymous data as you come and go from our website, as outlined in the Google Analytics policy below. AMT does not collect or store any of this data.
 
Registered users, email subscribers
 
We require names, email addresses and passwords for those who wish to register on our website to receive emails or to have access to our premium services as registered users. This data is protected by technology that does not facilitate recovery of the original password from the information stored in our database.

We also request other non-compulsory data such as job title and employer for this category of user. This data is stored on our secure server in encrypted form.

Registered users have the option to subscribe to three email newsletters (daily emails, regular emails twice weekly, and job vacancy emails), their names and email addresses are retained within our servers to facilitate email sending. Registered users can unsubscribe from these emails and review their personal information at their account page. Registered users can delete their registration and unsubscribe from email at their account page. We use cookies to give you a smooth user experience, as outlined above. We use Google Analytics to track your anonymous data as you come and go from our website, as outlined in the Google Analytics policy below.
 
Paid subscribers
 
We require names, email addresses and passwords for those who wish to take out a paid registration on our website, so they can receive emails and have access to our paid premium services. This data is protected by technology that does not facilitate recovery of the original password from the information stored in our database.

We also request other non-compulsory data such as job title and employer for this category of user and collect their payment details. Payment details can be submitted via paypal, credit card, or by offline manual invoicing. We do to keep any details of payment information submitted through Paypal or credit card and we use encryption while transactions are being made. Your Paypal or Bank may retain your personal details according to their privacy policies.
 
For manual billing, our Admin Manager makes transactions via email or telephone and provides receipts through person interaction. No credit card details are saved, although login and corporate account information is retained off line in a local data server by the admin manager for ease of renewal and client interaction. Clients can request that details are not retained when they make manual transactions.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to track traffic to this website. The Google Analytics data policy can be found here. To avoid being tracked by Google Analytics you can use incognito/private mode to visit our websites. We do not use Google Adsense or any other Google products.
 
 
EMBEDDED CONTENT
 
From time to time our  pages embed content from third parties such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps and others. If you are logged into personal accounts on any of these services you will be able to view the content and those services will be able to administer your logged-in activity using the privacy policies you agreed to when you signed up to those services. If you are not logged into those services you may be able to see a link to those pages and will have the choice whether or not to click through to those links.
 
 
GDPR
 
Radioinfo and AsiaRadioToday are Trade Publications owned by AMT Pty Ltd, an Australian registered company with fewer than 250 employees and, as such, do not need to keep records of their processing activities under EU GDPR regulations. Processing of personal data is not a regular activity for our websites. Data processing is not our main business.
 
Our radioinfo website is https compliant and provides encrypted security protection for any data transactions conducted with radioinfo. Our AsiaRadioToday site is not https encrypted, but the site does not collect any data on individuals in any regular transactions. Other details of how we use your data are outlined above.
 
 
EDITORIAL POLICIES
 
We aim to report factual stories relevant to the radio and media industries and cover a wide range of valid, fact-based opinions relevant to our professional readers.
 
We will correct or modify our reports if they are found not to be factually based or carry invalid opinions, as outlined below.
 
We welcome reader comments and suggestions for additional information or corrections. There are two methods to comment on our content: via the comments section at the bottom of each story (requires a free login) or by email to editor@radioinfo.com.au. These are our editorial guidelines:
 

Accuracy and clarity
We aim to ensure that factual material in news reports and elsewhere is truthful, accurate and not misleading, and is distinguishable from other material such as opinion and advertising.
 
We will provide a correction or other adequate remedial action if published material is shown to be significantly inaccurate or misleading.
 
Fairness and balance
We will ensure that factual material is presented with reasonable fairness and balance, and that writers’ expressions of opinion are not based on significantly inaccurate factual material or omission of key facts.
 
We will ensure that where material refers adversely to a person, a fair opportunity is given for subsequent publication of a reply if that is reasonably necessary to address a possible fairness or accuracy breach.
 
Privacy and avoidance of harm
We will avoid intruding on a person’s reasonable expectations of privacy, unless doing so is truthful and/or sufficiently in the public interest.
 
We aim to avoid causing or contributing materially to substantial offence, distress or prejudice, or a substantial risk to health or safety, unless doing so is sufficiently in the public interest.
 
Integrity and transparency
We will avoid publishing material which has been gathered by deceptive or unfair means, unless doing so is sufficiently in the public interest.
 
We will ensure that conflicts of interests are avoided or adequately disclosed, and that they do not influence published material.

RADIOINFO EMAIL PRIVACY POLICY
 
Radioinfo promises not to divulge your e-mail address or password to any third party either alone or as part of our subscriber list. Any offer or promotion that may be made to you via e-mail on behalf of a third party will be made through radioinfo without the third party gaining access to your personal details. Any information we supply to third parties about our subscriber list will be of a general statistical nature only.
 
When you sign up to radoinfo we will keep in touch by sending you regular emails. You will be able to unsubscribe from these emails by clicking the link in the email, or visiting your My Account page and unticking the boxes.
 
We send three type of emails:

Regular Emails (no more than three times per week)
Daily Emails (daily)
Job Alerts (each time a new job is posted)

 
You can choose which type of emails you receive on the My Account page.
