Radio host pulls 400lb piano across London

Classic FM’s breakfast host Tim Lihoreau completed his challenge to pull a 400lb (182kg) piano almost five miles across central London.

Tim pulled the upright piano from Classic FM’s studios in Leicester Square to the Royal Albert Hall, which was hosting the station’s Classic FM Live concert.

At 10am, Tim was waved off at the start of his four-hour marathon pull and then received by some much-needed support in Trafalgar Square from his fellow Classic FM presenters Moira Stuart, Charlotte Hawkins and Alan Titchmarsh.(picture)

Classic FM’s Piano Pull is the world’s longest piano pull – and was organised to raise money and awareness for Global’s Make Some Noise. Tim crossed the finish line at The Royal Albert Hall at 2pm, with the piano being donated to one of the projects and small charities which Global’s Make Some Noise supports.

So far, Tim has raised more than £42,000 for Make Some Noise.
