Jim Pilgrim passed away this morning at 7.30am.

A unique chapter in Canberra’s radio history, for over 40 years. Jim was a radio host at 2CA through the early ’70’s and was the first Drive announcer on 2CC from it’s launch in October 1975.

He was a regular news and sport presenter on Canberra television, and his distinctive booming voice made him one of Australia’s iconic voice over talents. His contribution to the radio industry, will live on.
