Win your way to Florida USA to cover the NAB RadioShow

Would you like to be radioinfo’s reporter at the NAB Radio Show in Florida this year? One radioinfo reader will receive a week’s trip to the USA to attend the NAB RadioShow. In return you will file some stories, tweet some comments and take some photos for us.

The Radio Show is American Radio’s premier annual event where industry professionals from every market and business sector come together to get content and revenue-generating ideas, network with business partners and enjoy special events.

The three-day conference is attended by radio’s top CEOs and thought leaders and is a must-attend event for anyone who is interested in the future of radio as well as their own future in radio.

What do you have to do?

Well, we need to know if you can write. So we are running a competition where you submit a report, comment or any other piece of content that could be interesting to radioinfo’s readership of ‘broadcast professionals.’ If we choose to publish the piece you write, you are already in with a big chance.

What do you get?

The winner will get a full economy airfare to Florida, admission to the RadioShow, and a week’s accommodation at the conference venue on us.

Interested? Then start writing and tell all your friends to read your story!

Beginning June 1, 2013 we will accept your stories, reports or opinion pieces for publication. If they are published, you will automatically be entered in the competition with a chance to be one of six finalists.

All entries will be judged by the number of unique page views they attract, according to Google Analytics. The three stories that attracted the most unique page views at the end of each month – June and July – will win a place in the finals.

At the end of each week we will publish the number of page views each story got and at the end of each month, June and July, the writers of the three most read stories will go into a final judging round.

On Thursday August 15 we will announce the winner, judged by us as the best entry from the six finalists based on writing skills and picture quality. The winner will be on a plane to Orlando Florida in September for the NAB RadioShow Sept 18-20.

Entries must be sent to [email protected] with the subject line containing the words ‘RadioShow entry from …’ with your name and the story title.
