New national roles at Fairfax Radio

Fairfax Radio Network has announced four new appointments across the content, news, technology and human resource teams.

Clark Forbes has been appointed as National Content Director, Rob Curtain as National News Director, Joe Sexton as National Technology Director and Mandy Walter as National Human Resources Manager.

Fairfax Radio Network CEO Adam Lang is pleased with the new appointments and excited for the year ahead: “These changes signal very exciting times for the Fairfax Radio Network and we are delighted to have been able to choose many of the best candidates internally.”

Clark Forbes brings a great depth of experience to his new role, having formerly led 3AW as Program Director.

“Mr Forbes will play a significant role in leading the strategic Content growth and development of the Fairfax Radio Network,” says Lang.

Rob Curtain has been appointed National News Director, in addition to his continuing role as News Director for 3AW and Magic.

“As part of his new national role Mr Curtain will advise the stations’ News Directors and enhance integration with Fairfax Media.”

Further significant appointments include Joe Sexton as National Technology Director and Mandy Walter as the new Human Resources Manager.

“Mr Sexton brings considerable experience to the role of National Technology Director through his extensive career which includes his most recent position as Network and Radio Supervisor at ABC International Broadcasting – Radio Australia.

“Ms Walter will be the new Human Resource Manager – an exciting appointment, and the first human resource role which connects our radio business with the broader Fairfax group.”

The network will soon begin the search for a National Director of Sales to lead the team and drive further capacity for Clients.
