A new breakfast show for KOFM in 2014

KOFM is has announced that Tanya Wilks will be joined by Steve Graham in the Breakfast shift from January 2014.

After taking KOFM’s drive session to success in the ratings during 2013 with “Rush Hour with Steve G”, Steve Graham will now be Tanya Wilks co-host from 6-9am.

Alex “The Flack” Flack will be joining the duo as anchor and Executive Producer. “Flack” had worked behind the scenes as Breakfast producer in 2012 and is no stranger to the KOFM studios or breakfast hours.

Drive co-host Kristen Henry will be returning to Canberra to co-host her own breakfast show there on Mix 106.3.

Tanya Wilks said: “As Kylie Minogue once sang…’better the devil you know’ and given that we have known each other for almost forever, we are starting from a good place. However, we have NEVER worked together so I’m fascinated as to how it‟s going to come out of the speakers. Who knows what kind of fireworks could explode”

Steve Graham said: “Tanya and I have been good mates „off air‟ for 20 years, so when she asked me, I thought this should be fun, why not”

General Manager Steve Smith: This is a brilliant outcome for all Newcastle & Hunter listeners. With the two powerhouse talents of Tanya Wilks and Steve Graham at the breakfast table, KOFM will be serving up an enticing mix of real Newcastle perspective with extra comedy twist in 2014. Better get a bigger coffee cup, you won‟t want to miss a minute.”
