Following up their chat on 2DayFM yesterday, Kyle Sandilands accepted John Laws’ invitation to join him in his 2SM studio today.

Sandilands spent close to 2 hours in the studio with Lawsy and they chatted about everything from life to politics and everything in between.

Kyle recalled his days as a John Laws show panel operator in Townsville, and told Laws he has admired and imitated him during his career, even to the point of getting a golden microphone like Laws.

Sounding strangely off-mic in the Laws’ studio, Sandilands talked about the studio and the famous 2SM carpet.

As callers struggled to get through, a few made it, including Kyle’s mother.
