iHeartRadio announces first Content Director

Following last month’s announcement that Australian Radio Network (ARN) has partnered with content marketing company Emotive, they today announced the appointment of iHeartRadio’s first Content Director.

Brett ‘Nozz’ Nossiter will join iHeartRadio as Content Director, leaving his current position of Content Acquisition and Partnerships Director at Authentic Entertainment.  

Brett is a dual ACRA winner and has more than 15 years experience in radio, television and live events, including music director and program director at Foxtel’s Channel V and Nova Entertainment.
 
ARN National Content Director Duncan Campbell says Brett will be a valuable addition to the iHeartRadio team.

His proven experience across radio, television and live events will mean even more unforgettable musical experiences for our audiences, coupled with creating great unique and engaging content.” 
 
Brett’s role will include growing the iHeartRadio brand, which has already resulted in 400,000 new users in the past 18 months..  He will also work closely with Emotive to ensure maximum leverage of iHeartRadio’s new initiatives, including iHeartRadio Live and the newly launched iHeartRadio Countdown and iHeartRAdio on the Verge.
 
ARN’s CEO Ciaran Davis said: “This appointment is part of ARN’s ongoing evolution and growth of iHeartRadio. Combined with Emotive’s dedicated content marketing approach, this will result in further growth for the platform while providing brands with even more targeted commercial opportunities and giving audiences more of what they love.”

Brett will commence with ARN on 4th May.
