A surprise set of circumstances reunited two AFTRS students across the miles this week.

Alex Louran is presenting The Bump on the Southern Cross Austereo network all this week.

Nick Karkazis does bits of correspondence for SCA from Ireland.

Nick has told radioinfo:

“As luck would have it, I covered the Macklemore gig here in Dublin and had to report back to The Bump only to find out it was my old mate Alex from AFTRS OnAir.

“We both thought it was pretty crazy. One ex AFTRS student hosting the biggest national nights show in the country, crossing to another ex AFTRS student on the other side of the world. Pretty insane. If you had’ve told me that was gonna happen a few years ago I’d have laughed!”
