“You may know him as the guy who sings his name at the start of all his songs, the guy who had to cancel his 2012 Australian tour due to a broken neck or the guy who is keen for you to “talk dirty to me”.

No matter how you know Jason Derulo, one thing’s for sure: once you hear the lyrics combined with the jumping beat of his brand new Number 1 single ‘Talk Dirty’ you’ll never forget him.

The man has certainly crammed a lot into his 23 years. With his third album ‘Tattoos’ due for release later this year he is definitely making his mark on the music industry in a big way.

“Talk Dirty’ is Jason’s second single and I have to say it has the catchiest hook I’ve ever heard in a pop song. He has sampled the middle eastern-flavoured hook from a track called “Hermetico” by Balkan Beat Box.  He’s also teamed up with rapper 2 Chainz, busting out a verse and bringing the perfect balance to this pop hit.

Every artist seems to have their setbacks at some point. I’m sure for Jason having to cancel a world tour due to an accident that almost saw him paralysed would have been a very low point in his life. Fast forward a little over a year and he is certainly back on top of his game now bigger and better than ever.
